Reebok Trail Sneakers – I love reebok Crossfit shoes, they have always been my favorite, even over NoBull. When I came across these trail sneaks, I had to try them out and sure enough, I love them! They are made the same as the cross training shoes, but they have a thick, deep tread suitable for hiking.
Teton Hydration Pack – This hydration pack has been the best thing ever for hiking. We have been hiking with weighted vests recently, and so we want to keep a fast pace and keep moving through it. Having these waterparks overtop of our vest have been an awesome way to make water easily accessible to keep us hydrated.
Weighted Vest – This is the weighted vest that I use. JJ has one that is loadable and goes anywhere from 2.5lbs to 60lbs, however it is bulky and difficult to remain in for long periods of time. I wanted something slimmer and more agile, so I found this vest, which carries weight through the shoulder straps. I use the 12lb vest.
Reduce Thermal Cup – If you’re ever around me at all, you have seen me with this cup. I am addicted to iced coffee, but I do not enjoy spending $6.00+ daily, so I make my own in my 32 oz. reduce cup. It keeps my coffee cold all day and I bring it everywhere.
Steal Like an Artist – I was recently introduced to this book and it was eyeopening. If you are any kind of artist and you struggle with imposter syndrome at all – this is a must read! It is short, so it is very quick. I listened to the audio book, which was just over an hour.
Liquid IV – We have been more active than ever this summer (tough mudder, spartan race, 10k, and more). After every single one of these events, I found myself grossly dehydrated with headaches and fatigue. The best and quickest way to recover is through these liquid IV packets. They contain salt, electrolytes, and other ingredients that help to immediately replenish you – I HIGHLY. recommend!
